Northern Flying Squirrel Glaucomys Sabrinus
A month or so ago, my neighbors told me that they had seen a Flying Squirrel at their bird feeder. It was the first I had heard of flying squirrels in our area. I was somewhat skeptical until about a month later we also had a nighttime visitor to our bird feeder and it was a flying squirrel. I got a few good photos of the new critter so I am positive it is a Northern Flying Squirrel. What I was wondering is how common are these guys in our parts? Has anyone else seen them?
