I would sure appreciate input on good experiences with a good podiatrist in the Yuba/Sutter counties areas. I need toe surgery and need a good one. I've already met one who was not so good & mean to boot--Dr. N....

I had to have ingrown nails removed. I should have done it years and years ago as it was pretty much painless.

I was forced to go to his office 'cause he refused to do the simple procedure in the hospital (I was in the hospital anyway) citing that the hospital was not a sterile place. I went to his office, which was far from sterile and he popped off my toenail but didn't get the ingrown parts which are now giving me major trouble. The to boot part was when he told his assistant off in front of me, my husband, and two other people and then went on to rudely tell a paralized patient off for being slightly late. We all heard that. It was in an abusive manner. I recommend steering clear of Dr. A. Nguyen. My reason for looking for a podiatrist.

I went to an excellent one in Grass Valley a few years ago through Sierra Care Physcians. I can't recall his name for the life of me but he was very good. Dr. Mara Berezniak's office in Penn Valley would have his contact information.

I recommend Dr. Latter of Foothill Podiatry in Grass Valley (probably the same office Wolf is referring to). Their number is (530) 477-7200. Great staff, great doctor.

Yes, that was the name! Thanks. Dr. Latter was very good and they even accomodated me in a follow up when they didn't have to.

Thanks everyone for coming to my rescue! I ended up seeing Dr. Pham yesterday. He cut the ingrown parts off (didn't leave much nail) and put me on a strong antibiotic. He didn't stop there. He was extremely accomidating with placing me and helping me out of the office and was very patient.

boopieup, Where is Dr. Pham? I also had the same podiatrist (Dr. N) with less than wonderful results and would like to find another one
