Anyone know (have any experience with) where to get good prescription safety glasses? My hubby needs to get them to keep stuff out of his eyes at work.

Dr. Richards on D Street in Marysville did a great job for my husband.

Your husband might also want to ask his employer. Some will supply or pay for prescription safety glasses. If so, there's usually a contract with some supplier. My employer provides them. They are good safety glasses, but certainly NOT stylish!

Yes, Cal Trans paid for my husband's. He got his prescription through Dr. Royo, then the glasses are made in the prisons, I think.

LBK Optical Lab on Yolo St in Yuba City. They have a wide range of frames and if you know your prescription, anyone can go there for glasses.

Oakley does prescription glasses that meet all ANSI 87/ mil spec safety regs. PM me if you would like further details. I have contract w/ them. FIREDUCK
