Ok so has anybody else noticed that the fire auxiliary has raised their prices and the amount of usable items has diminished ?
LET'S GO PEOPLE they need more donations
And THEY NEED TO LOWER THEIR PRICES.
I found a nice tennis racket for $10 but when I got home to research it's quality it turns out I can get a NEW one for $14.
I'm all for supporting not only a great cause and a local fire dept but they need to get back to the real world. The economy isn't great and people are broke and raising the prices is not going to help either the public or the dept.

    That's my 2 cents worth.

They always seem to be having "Bag" sales..where you can fill a bag at one price. I have always found their prices to be more than reasonable. I continue to donate items to this great organization.

Volunteers are pricing things and sometimes they aren't aware of the value of things. That said, I either ask them about the price or just pay it and chalk it up to a donation.
