Royal Haven Farm gives riding lessons.  We have a lesson horse.  We teach both English and Western.  Lessons are $35.  Give us a call at 530-743-2665 or email at raznquiz@gmail.com.  We would love to have you come by anytime and meet the Farm family and see if you would like to continue your daughter's riding experiences here!

Also, Jean Terry is on Marysville Road and is excellent. If you are interested, email me back and I'll send your her number. She gave some lessons to my granddaughter and he is kind, gentle, and an expert!

Shayla Sullivan on Everglade Trail.  She gives lessons to my grandaughter and is excellent with kids!  They always have a great time, the kids love her place.  530-743-6176.  Also, she is a 4-H leader.

Over the years I have seen many young kids take riding lessons from Tamara at Royal Haven Farm. She is patient and very knowledgeable about horses. Her lesson horse is easy to ride and  reliable. You can't go wrong. She also teaches adults to ride. Give her a try.

There is also that place on the right hand side of the road going down towards Bridgeport. Not too far after the Wildwood Community. I think it is called Oak Tree Stables, or something to do with trees. Just keep driving. It is on a curve across from the school there I think. Nice place, horses and people.

I believe you contacted my via phone about coming out to meet everyone at Royal Haven Farm.  I must have transposed the phone number as the person I talked to never had posted anything on Yuba Foothilss.  Unfortunately I had deleted the answering machine message and thus am not able to return your call.   Please call me again at 530-743-2665 and I will get back to you.  Thanks.
