I’m Here, just looking for a good positive sounding answer but afraid there may not be one.

Without question the Board is getting concerned. However the lake has been at this level in February before and it has tuned out to be a near normal water year.

For now We are storing all We can and hoping for the best. Fish and Game requirement for fish flows of 3 CFS down the creek, below Collins Lake, is all that is being let out.

Does that mean the Smith ditch is empty?

BVID has no say whatsoever concerning the Smith ditch. It is a private ditch serving the Smith Ranch with there own water right on Dry Creek. If they chose to take the entire 3 CFS We put down Dry Creek BVID does not have the authority to tell them to stop.
