Wireless phones and answering machines have software that allows you to identify incoming calls.   Program the phone to block the more offensive ones. And to identify the calling number. Keep track of the calling numbers when making reports to the "do not call list".   The most troublesome are the diabetic supply calls. They must be using a birthday database and think that everyone over the age of three is diabetic. Calls at 5 AM? A bit much.   Now I have to figure out how to program the wireless phone to mute the ring after ten PM and to set myself a reminder to activate the ring after 7 AM.   I now keep the phone in ring mode and let the answering segment do the talking. I worked my way through nursing school as a medical assistant for a perdiatrics office in a predominantly HIspanic community in San Diego. Most of our patients didn't speak a word of English. The often will come across the border in their final stages of labor so their children will be born in an American HOspital so they will be US citizens. WE are the only country in the world that grants citizenship when neither of the parents are citizens. It really needs to STOP!!!! Their kids get all kinds of social welfare benifits and the parents get benefits as well. The article was well written and spot on. I'm sure things have only gotten worse since the article was written. WE need to stop granting citizenship when neither parent is a citizen, and we need to stop giving them medical care, education, and welfare. At some point it has to stop.  less
